We designed this concept for a small restaurant as an escapist experience for the guest.
The private atmosphere is created by a small dining room that is anchored by a prominent bar which also defines the entry vestibule. Flexible seating arrangements are spaced to accommodate divider screens with minimal impact on the seating capacity. The space brings soft curves and rough materials together in a symmetrical and modern layout. Sightlines to washrooms and the kitchen are carefully considered while maintaining circulation for servers and cooks. Large-scale Siamese Betta fish video art is used to enhance the experience while also being a soothing element.
